I’m glad you’ve found your way here.
I grew up in Lawrence, Kansas, and from an early age, I’ve been drawn to the stories of people who are often overlooked — those carrying burdens in silence, those pushing forward even when the road is rough. That deep respect for human resilience is what led me to social work, and eventually, to becoming a therapist.
Before I entered private practice, I spent over six years working in crisis intervention and later served as a Social Service Director in long-term care. Those years taught me that healing doesn’t come from having all the answers — it comes from being seen, being heard, and having someone walk alongside you in the hard moments. That’s what I hope to offer you: a grounded, compassionate space where you don’t have to carry it all alone.
Therapy with me is real, honest, and rooted in connection. I show up fully for my clients — not just as a therapist, but as a human being who believes in the power of hope and the importance of holding space for both pain and joy.
Outside the therapy room, you’ll find me training in jiu jitsu, playing chess, or spending time with my wife, family, and close friends. I try to live a life centered in meaning, joy, and gratitude — and I bring that same energy into the work I do with others.
If you’re ready to begin — or even just curious about what healing might look like for you — I’m here.
