About

Wwaasssuuuppppp, cousin?! Happy __________ [insert day]! I’m Nicole, and I’m here to remind you that when you choose yourself, you show the world what you truly deserve. Choosing yourself isn’t always easy, and it’s not always met with acceptance or understanding, but it’s worth it. Welcome to the other side of life, where healing resides.

I proudly call myself a “hope dealer” with a deep passion for Black mental health and wellness. Over the past decade (and some), I’ve gained invaluable experience working with Indiana’s child welfare and juvenile justice systems. My areas of expertise include, but aren’t limited to, abuse and neglect, post-traumatic stress, race-related trauma and discrimination, sexually harmful behaviors, mood and anxiety disorders, challenges with positive self-image, and attachment disorders.

I take pride in creating a therapeutic space that feels like a conversation at your kitchen table—a space where ethics, creativity, and humor meet. Therapy with me is an experience that gives you the chance to refocus on the parts of yourself that can get lost in the noise of others. It’s a space to reflect, release, and relearn. Life’s tough enough with responsibilities, and even finding matching socks—therapy doesn’t have to be hard too. At least not all the time.

I’m grateful to those who choose me to guide them on their healing journey. To quote Lauryn Hill, “How you gon’ win when you ain’t right within?” So let’s stop wondering. This time, I encourage you to choose yourself.
