For more than 25 years, I have had the privilege of walking alongside people through some of life’s most difficult moments and supporting them as they find their way forward. My approach is trauma-informed, and I am trained in EMDR. I also have a special understanding of the stress, responsibility, and emotional weight that can come with working in healthcare and as a first responder.
I especially love working with parents. My own amazing adult children taught me that parenting can be both the hardest and the most rewarding job we will ever have. Watching our teens and young adults navigate an increasingly complicated world can feel overwhelming, and sometimes we are figuring out how to support them while still finding our footing ourselves. I enjoy helping parents strengthen boundaries, stay connected to who they are, and model the same healthy skills they hope to see in their children.
Ultimately, my focus as a therapist is on your future story. We may explore your family system and your past to better understand how you arrived here, and we’ll build tools to help you manage what you’re facing today. But the most important story we tell is the one about tomorrow; I’m ready to help you write a future story filled with hope.
